It’s National Tape Measure Day!

Today is National Tape Measure Day! What a great day to gather all of your measuring things (tape measures & rulers). Give them a clean. Check them out—are they accurate? Do you use them all? Are there any you haven’t used in the past 12 months? Do you really need them.? That is question only you can answer. Do you have room for all of them? Now that they are all in one place, all cleaned up, put them away where they belong. Someplace you will be able to find them quickly. My rulers live in different locations based on type and use. Some of my larger ones I make a point of laying them flat so they won’t warp.

What better way to celebrate this day than to treat your measuring tools with respect.

Enjoy your day and happy measuring!

tape measures in my sewing desk drawer—they live here and always go back here

these hang at the end of my cutting table—and are the ones I most often use

these lie flat on the bottom two shelfs of my cutting table—they are larger and not used as frequently

odds and ends—haven’t used in a long time, not ready to part with them….sigh…
