Who I am
Hey there, I'm Gail Berry-Graham, and I'm thrilled to share my passion for quilting and machine embroidery with you! Imagine diving into a world of fabric, creativity, and endless possibilities—that's what quilting is all about for me.
Now, I wasn't always a quilting pro. In fact, I spent years dabbling in various hobbies until I stumbled upon quilting in my 40s. It all started with a simple wall hanging kit, and from there, I was hooked. With the support of my husband, who introduced me to machine embroidery, my hobby quickly turned into a full-blown obsession.
Teaching quilting, software and machine embroidery has become my calling. Whether I'm leading workshops at guild meetings or quilting retreats, I love seeing that "aha" moment when someone learns a new technique or discovers their creative spark.

My proficiency extends to the realm of technology as well and as Canada’s Number 1 software expert it is my honour to share that knowledge. I'm a true aficionado of Pro-Stitcher, EQ8, and Handi Quilter systems, and I take pride in helping others master these tools to unlock their full creative potential.
But it's not just about the technical stuff. Quilting is my way of expressing myself and connecting with others. I'm an active member of my local guild, and my quilting journey has taken me across Canada, the USA, Australia, and even Germany. Plus, I recently had the incredible opportunity to be a special guest at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England in the Handi Quilter Booth! I am also looking forward to teaching at Quilt Canada.
When I'm not quilting or teaching, you'll find me experimenting with new tools and techniques to take my projects to the next level. And let's not forget about thread—I could talk about the perfect thread for hours. As a Superior Threads Educator I bring extensive knowledge of how to choose the perfect thread!
