Stickers are fun—even for grown ups!
I was recently at an event and the book room had some stickers. I picked up three that spoke to me. All simple, yet great reminders of how to live a life that is full of acceptance, joy and kindness.
I’m going to stick them on my laptop, everytime I pick it up to go someplace I will have to look at them. I hope they will cause me to stop and just slow down and encompass them into my day. I’m getting ready to travel—eight airport visits in 10 days, two hotels, a couple of busses, a few ubers and I’m hoping for a couple of rental scooter rides—but that also means I will be tired, hot and could easily be cranky. I’m hoping I won’t be cranky but will be kind, accepting and joyful. I will still be tired but that is not an excuse and certainly not a reason to be cranky, mean and irritating.
Speaking of irritating—remember when kids brought stickers home from school or sunday school and wanted to stick them all over their doors/walls? I bet it made you a bit cranky. Now—years later here I am purposing putting stickers on something I own—and you know what? I
